Shipping 

We offer shipping to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. 


Carbon Neutral Shipping

We measure how much carbon it takes to ship a Hitch Bottle and Cup. We then offset those emissions by removing an equal amount of carbon from the atmosphere through our certified partner, Climate Neutral.

 

Shipping within the United States

 

Shipping Costs 

For US retail orders over $85, we offer free UPS Ground shipping within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US territories.


Shipping Speed 

Orders require 1-2 business days to process before shipping. Once your order has been fulfilled and shipped, in most cases you should receive your order within 3 to 5 business days from its ship date. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Military, and U.S. Territory addresses, you should receive your order within 5 to 15 business days from its ship date.

Due to COVID-19, like many businesses, we are experiencing occasional shipping delays and the above times are our best estimates at this time.

For Pre-orders, you are reserving a product that is currently being manufactured or is in transit to our fulfillment centers. If you order today, your payment will be processed immediately, but your product will not be shipped until it is ready. Our current estimates are that pre-orders placed after June 1st, 2023, will ship within 30-45 days from the date of your order. These are only estimates, and may change due to any manufacturing, shipping, or carrier delays. You can cancel anytime to get a complete refund, including shipping, until the product is shipped.


APO / FPO Shipping 

Hitch offers shipping for orders going to any APO / FPO address. The rates are variable based on your location and the size of your order.


PO Box Shipping 

We do not ship to US PO Boxes.

You will be emailed a link with the tracking number once your order has shipped.

 

International Shipping

 

International Countries 

We currently accept pre-orders to Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. We plan on expanding this to include more countries in the future.


International Shipping Cost

International orders are shipped using a variety of optimized carriers. Rates and options are calculated at checkout. 


International Shipping Speed

Duties and Taxes 

For most countries, we do not collect duties and taxes on your order, as they are determined and collected from you by your local customs authority. 

For the UK, we are required to collect duties and taxes upfront.  All UK orders under £135 are subject to a 20% additional tax upon import. All orders £135 - £630 are subject to a 22% additional tax upon import. 

Sales Tax or VAT is collected by your country for purchases from the U.S., along with any Duties charged for processing by your country. This charge is determined by your local customs authority. In the event your local customs authority is unable to contact you regarding the taxes and duties due on your purchase, and the item is returned to us, you will not be eligible for a refund of the shipping fees.

International PO boxes

We can’t ship to international PO boxes yet. If you entered an international PO box as your delivery address we will reach out to get an alternative address which may delay your delivery.




Returns & Exchanges

 

Return Policy

US Returns: If you purchased a product directly from carryhitch.com and would like to return it, you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. To complete your return or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

International Returns: Hitch does not currently accept returns or exchanges on International orders.

Crowdfunding: We are unable to accept returns. Please refer to the return policy on the bottom of our crowdfunding pages.

 

Returns for a Refund

US Returns: If you purchased a product directly from carryhitch.com and would like to return it, you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. If you would like to initiate a return, please follow the guidelines here to get started.

Once your return is received, we will approve or reject your request solely at our discretion, and email you about the approval or rejection of your refund. 

Please note that returns are not free. You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. A $2 restocking fee per item in your return will also be charged for your return. 

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 30 days. If you haven’t received a refund within 30 days of receiving your refund approval, please contact your bank as it may take some processing time before your refund is officially posted. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Hitch will not be held responsible for items lost in transit to our return address.

Returns for Exchanges

US Returns: After an order has been placed, we work very quickly to fulfill and ship it out within 48 hours. If you need to change the order, and it has been less than 48 hours, please contact us at orders@carryhitch.com with the word ‘Urgent’ in the subject line.

Please note, in many cases, it may not be possible to make changes once the order has been sent to be fulfilled, but we are happy to help if it has not been sent yet. If you request to add additional items to your order, this is not possible, as we don't store customer credit card information, but we can assist you in placing another order.

If your order has been shipped, to be eligible for an exchange, it must have been purchased directly from carryhitch.com, and you have 15 days after receiving your item to request an exchange. Exchanged items must be unused and in their original packaging. Once your exchanged item is received, we will approve or reject your request solely at our discretion.

Please note that exchanges are not free. You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. A $2 restocking fee per item in your exchange will also be deducted from your exchange, and you will be charged to ship your requested exchanged products to you.

Returns and Exchanges Shipping 

Hitch will only cover the shipping fees for the return of defective, damaged, or incorrect items or parts and reserves the right to replace defective or damaged items or parts at its sole discretion. 

For all other returns and exchanges for unused products, you will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, we will refund you for the product returned. If you request an exchange, the cost of shipping plus a $2 restocking fee per item in your return will be charged.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Hitch will not be held responsible for items lost in transit to our return address. 


Defective items 

If you believe there is a manufacturing defect with your product or if the product arrived damaged in the box, please initiate a limited warranty claim following the guidlines here within 30 days of receiving your shipment.

Hitch will review all cases. In the event that we deem a replacement is necessary, it is at our discretion whether we replace the product or just the affected part.  Hitch reserves the right to request the product to be sent to our office for additional review and to verify your claim. If this is needed, Hitch will cover the shipping fees for the return of defective or incorrect items. We will also cover shipping for any replacement parts. 

Defect claims between 31 days and 180 days (6 months) after the receipt of the item may be replaced at the sole discretion of Remaker Labs. We cannot accept defect claims after 6 months of your receipt of the item.

 

Damage Claims

If you believe the product arrived damaged in the box, please reach out to orders@carryhitch.com within 30 days of receiving your shipment, with 'damage' in the subject line of your email, and include photos or videos of the issue, along with a description of the issue and how the issue occurred.

In the event that we deem a replacement is necessary, it is at our discretion whether we replace the product or just the affected part. Hitch will cover the shipping fees for the return of damaged items if necessary. Hitch reserves the right to request the product to be sent to our office for additional review and to verify your claim. We will provide the shipping label in this situation, and we will also cover shipping for any replacement parts.

Late Returns 

If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we won’t be able to offer you a refund or exchange.


Final Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded—sale items are not eligible for a refund. Please note that all Hitch accessories are final sale. 


Gifts

US Website Orders: If the item you wish to return was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, and we determine your product to be eligible for a return, we will issue a refund to the original card the order was placed with, or as a credit via a Hitch gift card, to be used only on purchases through our website (carryhitch.com) 

Please note that returns for gifts are not free. The cost of shipping plus a $2 restocking fee per item in your return will be deducted from the refund. 

International Returns: Hitch does not currently accept gift returns on International orders

Crowdfunding Returns: We are unable to accept returns. Please refer to the return policy on the bottom of our crowdfunding pages.

 

Cancellations 

Website Orders: If you ordered from carryhitch.com you may cancel your order any time up until the order has shipped for a full refund on the product, plus taxes. Your shipping payment is non-refundable.  If your order has already shipped, you will need to follow the Return Policy for Website Orders as stated above. 

Crowdfunding Orders: Due to the nature of crowdfunding campaigns, if you ordered your Hitch from Indiegogo or Kickstarter, we are unable to accept cancellations under any circumstances.

 

Lost Packages

We are not liable to replace or refund orders due to loss or theft if they are scanned as delivered by our delivery partners. Please reach out directly to the carrier who shipped your package to inquire as to the status of your package delivery and file a lost package claim. We cannot resolve issues with carrier delivery until your carrier has finished resolving your lost package claim first.
